Fix-it-Friday

Once again, I decided to try my hand at the Fix-it-Friday...

The mom who submitted this photo was a little unhappy with the uneven exposure of the baby's face and she also did not like all of the clutter in the background. I adjusted the exposure on the face, removed the clutter from the background, and because she reminded me of the Gerber baby, I decided to give the whole photo a vintage wash. What do you think?

Fix-It Friday

I have a photographer friend who participates in this websites "fix-it-friday" every week.

She inspired me to give it a try, and here are the results.


So this was texture week. The only instructions were that we should include some type of texture in the photo. I actually used two of Nichole V's worn textures in my edited version. I really wanted to focus on bringing up the background to give the photo some context and color, since the original was so white. What do you think?

I'm Back!

This past Holiday season was incredibly busy, with lots to do, pictures to take & so much fun! It is one of my New Year's Resolutions to be a better blogger, and so in keeping with this resolution and since the month of January is almost over (where does this time go??) here is the first of hopefully many more and much more frequent posts to come!
